I came accross this pic:

and noticed the Oettinger front skirt has been smoothed into the bumper, I'm thinking to get an Oettinger front skirt and think it looks much better smoothed in as above, does anyone know how much this would cost? Below is a pic of the normal Oettinger skirt (not smoothed in):

Looks much better smoothed but i reckon that would be a longer job and
therefore more costing job, i think it would be more easiar for them to
smooth the whole front end off with the bumper ( basically the first
pic without bumper strips) and it would look much better imo.

Wouldn't that be more work though? I was thinking maybe they could cut the bottom of the bumper off (everything below the bumper strip) and then weld the Oettinger skirt into place?
you would have to cut the bottom half of the bumper off ant ways to fit that kit.

but smoothing it in will be very time consuming and so expesive.

smoothing the bumper strips then smothing the kit on would cost even more.

I don't think you have to cut off the bottom half of the bumper to fit the kit, it just bonds on to the current bumper which is why you can tell it's a little overlapped on the sides of the bumper in the second pic I posted above...might just go for an R32 bumper instead...

I'm also under the impression that it fits the same as the Caratere kit, the bottom of the stock bumper is cut away.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that's the case.

I remember Awesome once telling me how they were impressed with how the
Caratere bumper mated up but not with the Oettinger which is why I
opted for an Oettinger lower valance at the time and not the full
bumper.

May well get round to smoothing the Oettinger bumper on mine this year.

Couple of pics of the appearance I'm after >>
