Hi All,

Hope you are all well. I was wondering what are your thoughts on Audi S3 wheels on a mark 4 golf GTI?

If any of you have any pictures of the look, please let me see.

I had them on my V5 and thought they looked great.

I dont have any pics but Chris owned them before me so maybe he has some.

Cool, thanks for your reply. Just another question, did you keep the audi centre caps on? or can you replace them with VW caps (if there are any)?

I popped the audi rings out of the centre and put a VW centre cap sticker (from an alloy wheel shop) over it. That way I was able to put the audi rings back if I wanted to and it only cost a fiver!

sorry no pics at the moment as I'm at work but they look great and fill the arches perfect - wider than VW wheels so they really do look and handle great, if a little heavy possibly?

I have kept the Audi centres too. nout wrong with being a VAG enthusiast- after all every other part to the car has the Audi stamp!

these are still for sale. bit pricey but you could probably knock them down a bit.

I used to have them on mine, very nice wheel. Look bigger than 17s IMO. Check out my mates Golf as he's got them now

By the way, the other two golfs in the photo are riding on 19s.

Im sorry mate but i cant help you with the centre caps question. My car came with those wheels on it so i dont know. Remember reading somewhere on here tho that you can get them. Do a search for "VW centre caps"

Genuine VW centre caps can be got from the stealer for ?10 each. Part number is 3B0601149KGRB. Personally though i'd go the sticker route as UniKarl suggested.

I've got the S3 wheels and i think that they have just the right offset to fill the arches nicely. No spacers required. I paid ?500 with new tyres on from Montys Wheels and Tyres. Recently AMD had a set but they wanted ?900 without tyres.
