what problems can this cause and what other mods will i need apart from a re-map?

i was thinking along the lines of the bigger injectors from the transporter and a bigger IC with the turbo

but i have been told there will be loads of problems with the likes of the clutch ect

is this the case?

My AmD'd PD Anni suffered a little from clutch slip though nothing that would spoil the fun. There is a good "de-glazing" technique on here somewhere; whereby you dip the clutch at 60mph and hit the gas pedal and release the clutch. Then clutch slip totally disappeared

Mate if i was you i'd go for bigger injectors and then a decent remap, should be more than enough power. You have to bear in mind the clutch! mine slips quite abit already.

that what you did or just the re-map?

Craig you could also fit a vnt17 (you have the vnt15) from the 115 or 130 as they bolt straight on, if you go for the injectors and bigger IC that is. If you want more hassle then the 150 unit will go on, but with a bit of work required with the piping. Don't know about uprated clutch options for the rotary pump engines, but there isn't anything yet for the pd's.

Here's some part numbers for you:

115/130 turbo Garrett GT1749VA (p/n 038145702G)

150 GT1749VB (p/n 038253016G)

there was a kkk turbo on some PD130s but the golf uses the garrett versions of the turbo, part number for the 130 is 038253016F where the 150 uses the letter G, they are both VNT 17 but the 150 uses a titanium compressor wheel.

so if a 130 fits a 150 will definatelly fit because on the outside they are both identical including pipe sizes.

being a bit dumb here, but can someone confirm that a 130 or 150pd turbo will fit on a 110 tdi?

currently im running 155bhp on my 110 with a remap. so could i bolt on a 130 or 150 turbo without many mods. or which mods/parts would i need to do it.
