Well that's it, the subject says it all! My wipers are RUBBISH! The back one leaks in the boot most of the time, my repair job only ever lasts a month! And when it wipes it smears, rather than clears. (see what I did there, I rhymed 'smears' with 'clears' anyway...) The front ones are fine until I hit 70 (officer) and then they just start missing the water and there's little point in using them!

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you done anything about it?

(I found that 'permanent' fixing guide for the rear washer on someone's website the other day - someone on here, thanks!! - so will try that and I'll get a polo rear wiper I think.

Any ideas for the front comedy ones?

Aero wipers are great and really do clean well.

If you've got a leak in the boot then its your windscreen wiper motor.

Either check the home page for the repair link otherwise its gonna cost you a fortune down at the stealers.

As for wiper quality. I just bought the skoda fabia rear wiper and its the muts. Lovely clean sweep, no smearing

I think my Aero's are great, no smearing at all and probably the best thing about them is, (besides the looks obviously) is the fact that you can still use them when there is very little or no water/rain on the windscreen and they don't make that awful screeching noise associated with standard wipers!! []

Recently fitted aero wipers

they are much much better than the original wipers especially over 70

Paid ?19 for wiper arm, new cover and blade from my local Skoda dealer

i dont want to spoil the party or anythin but i've got Aero Wipers ans i dont think they are that great,

they seem to miss the the windscreen for the last 5 or so inches of each wiper,

should this be resolved if i replace the blades?

I've areo wipers on front and a polo wiper arm with a touran blade on the rear. Great setup with no probs at all. Touran blade part no is 7E0955425 and costs ?4.08 + VAT.

i got a set of Boosh wiper blades today from local halfords

21" and 19"

and they work great

I'm going to get the aero front wipers and a polo rear wiper I think - most seem to have the polo one. If it turns out rubbish, I've got a friend with a polo and they might have it off me!

benjie the touran blade is about an inch longer and it does not hit the spoiler.
