I've been saving these for a little while. Took a few today with a mate's Nikon D70. Superb camera. I've had the Golf 2.5yrs and it has evolved along the way.

Looking mint mate, how easy was it to do the front brake conversion - I was gonna do it on my old 110 but i'd already spent too much money on it!

Sourced the calipers and carriers from a bent TT225 at a breakers. Hubs are from a Golf V5.

Got the fitting/painting done by a local VAG specialist, so in that respect it was easy really!

The difference with pagid fast road pads all round is phenomenal...

It was my first sightseeing visit. Diesels are not suited at all to 'Ringing.

I had to get my car complete with petrified girlfriend from the 'ring to Wolfsburg then on to Provence in one piece on the same tyres!

Still managed 5 laps though. Huge fun!

Map is of the Nurburgring in Eiffel, Germany. An enthusiast's playground!

My passenger happened to have his camera in his hand as we past 111,111miles.

Tintern shot is with a SONY Cybershot, the rest with the D70.

Nice pics Rich, although it is hard to capture how good it looks in the flesh IMO. Great looking car, goes & handles pretty well too [!]

The paint is indeed sorted now. Was carried out by Peter Cooper in Bognor Regis. I'm delighted with their work. Fantastic job.
