Just got my new car, Audi 1.8T Sport, it's running 150bhp exactly the same as a standard 1.8T Golf.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me if the Revo stage one approx 210bhp is worth the ?586?

Car is fun at the mo but seems like a good deal getting approx 60bhp extra for under ?600!

Not that well up on chip tuning so any help appreciated! [^]

Does the guy come to me? Also, ?305 sounds like a bargain!

Yes he will come to you and for ?305 it is a bargain.

Its either that or a K03s upgrade and a trip to Jabbasport.

And your Turbo wont go bang by running too much boost

Will it not??

I'd say all turbos will give up the ghost sooner or later if running too much boost.

Thats the glory of SPS3, increase the boost for playtime then downtune as and when you like.

Yep - no complaints about Upsolute [^] you cant spend ?305 better IMHO! Go give Simon Coe a call on 01246 411021 or Email him at [email protected] for more info have a look at his site www.ccctech.co.uk and yes he does come to your house and fits the chip there [:D]

It might ar it might not. I've run more boost than anyone thinks is sensible and had zero problems. Quality tuning!

There's nowt wrong with anybody elses tuning, but your car might go bang before or after you have it remapped, or you might get hit by lightning, or your legs might fall off.

Defensive, please

just responding to a comment about bogus RR the only comparisons i've seen between Jabba and REVO are in Golf+ Mag and Jabba's Pd 130 was quicker than Revo's pd150....

For the record i don't believe one remap is particularly better than another

pays your money and takes your choice - just don't slag other companies off in the process...

Has anyone with a jabba map ever compared figures to those found on another rolling road?

I'll get the opportunity to do this at the Astra-Sport/UK-MKIVS RR shootout comming up @ Star.
