Returning Member, now with 1.8T GTi
Hi all, so I’ve been a member before, albeit some years ago now, and I’ve finally returned with a GTi 1.8T.
I bought it cheap with a seized AUQ but knew of a friend who had a BAM (bare engine) sitting, so set about swapping it over.
Two weeks later I have a running car and I love it!

She’s a 2004 6sp model with 146k on the body and gearbox, the BAM has 125k on it.
