i"ve always used it and never had a problem, also my fuel seems to last longer[

I knew this would get a mention[Y]i found that forte diesel treatment is very good..!
so i imagine all their other products work just as well
that the thing, petrol injectors arent exposed to the combustion process and therefore dont get all drityThe OP asked about fuel system cleaners, those in the you tube link are 'power boost additives' . Im sure running a fuel system cleaner now and again should help get a better spray pattern out of the injectors. It certainly works on diesels![]()
I thought they still got gummed up with microscopic cr4p though. I would say it can't harm to have a blast of cleaner once in a while[that the thing, petrol injectors arent exposed to the combustion process and therefore dont get all drityThe OP asked about fuel system cleaners, those in the you tube link are 'power boost additives' . Most injectors are subject to EGR so would get a coating over time as they are in the inlet manifold where the EGR passes through on petrol engines unless you have an EGR delete [Y]yeah probably but then again that what your fuel filters for. i would just run som v power once in a while as it has better additives in it anyway
oh right didnt know that. But ive removed the injectors a while back and they looked pretty clean tbh, well from the outside they did, dont know about the inside. Most injectors are subject to EGR so would get a coating over time as they are in the inlet manifold where the EGR passes through on petrol engines unless you have an EGR deleteyeah probably but then again that what your fuel filters for. i would just run som v power once in a while as it has better additives in it anyway![]()
