Just wondering if anyone out there has one of these fitted to their GTI? Am looking into buying one of these in black. Need to know whether they fit into the rear GTI seats without problems as I find my current one is a little on the large side. Cheers in advance, Kev.

I think there's at least one person on here with one in the back of their Golf.

I will also be buying one within a couple of months for my little noisy nipper [:D]

[EDIT] - Its Cage who has one.

Cage has got one. PM him or I'm sure he'll pick this up later. Looks very smart...I might have to get a kid!

My mate has one in his Golf GTTDI and it looks the business IMO. Very trendy for the young one. Matches his full leather.

Yeah, I got one for my daughter. It sits perfect in the golf, so much adjustment. Some people think it is on the expensive side, but how many car seats can you get for ?130 (from Halfords, ?190 + from Recaro direct) that goes from 9mths to 11/12years old and has a built in speaker to connect a CD walkman, etc.

I got it from Halfords about 6 months ago. They only sale the Black or Black/Blue ones. If you want any other colour you will need to goto Recaro direct. Only bad side is that I had to try about 4 Halfords stores as they were sold out or they only had black in stock.

Apologies if i'm wrong, but i'm sure it was more than ?130 when i saw it in Halfords a week ago.

Very nice seat though.

Do you know how safe the seat is in tests? It may well look good but is it safe? Sorry to put a downer on the subject but safety is a must with child seats

how does it fix etc.?? i'm gonna be looking at forward facing seats soon as my twin girls are growing fast! i'd imagine an isofix seat is the safest option, is this isofix?? has it got it's own restraing straps or does it use normal seatbelt to hold child in?? ta!

Going to go for the all black one as my Golf's black so will look lush. Also will look great in my Mexico as that has an all black Recaro interior. Cheapest I've seen one for is ?157 off a motorsport website. Phoned halfords and they said they only do the "Air" model now at a price of ?199 hmmmmmm!
