If I were doing this mod again I'd be inclined to try a wiper off a new shape A3 instead of the Fabia wiper I fitted. Same style as the Fabia, but looks shorter so you won't have any trouble with it catch the tailgate/spoiler.

THE STEALERS RECKON THE POLO ONE WONT FIT A MK4............

what about the octavia one?

part numbers and pics?

The Polo one will definately fit a Mk4, I have one myself. If you have a rear spoiler DO NOT GET the Skoda part - it WILL catch on the spoiler.

Yup Mk V on mine too v v easy to fit, just remember to get the cap (for the bolt) to tidy things off.

pick of the MK5 Golf wiper on the MK4?

I haven't updated my sig pic yet [:I]. The photo the Mk IV with Polo wiper above will give you a good idea as they look identical to the Mk Vs

Ive got a New A3/S3 Wiper on mine and i think it looks really tidy. same as A4 but slightly shorter and neater looking (actually slightly shorter than the original wiper by about 1cm.)

it fitted straight on but have you guys noticed with A4/Skoda wipers that they dont actually sink right down the spline until nearly touching the window? and you are left with a nearly 1cm between the glass and the base of the wiper cap? or is this just a problem with New A3 wipers.

NOTE! also the water jet is different on A3 wiper so some DIY inside the cap is required to work properly!
