yeah there is a cd player and even an in-dash cd changer for the standard stereo

do you currently have the cubby hole above the cassette/radio? thats where the cd player will go instead

i have the cd player but it's the gamma haed unit i have that i want to replace.

befor the site moved,there wes a thread with some pics of a "beca" or "mexcio" cd/radio that lit up blue and red,and looked origanal.that is what i was intrested in.

any ideas...?

I've currently got just the gamma and the 6 in dash cd. I want, when funds permit to get a Becker Mexico, they look oe and are supposed to sound really good.

I have the Pioneer Avic 990 setup which in my opinion is still one of the best systems on the market. Unfortunately it doesn't preserve much of OEM styling and does protrude out quite a lot but when you see it in operation, in all its glory that is easily forgiven. I have an Alpine cda-9835r, and am very pleased with it. It doesnt look at all factory really, but does sound very nice and looks pretty good with the R32 trim with the trinket box above it. The Becker is not a bad choice at all either.

if you had left it in the mk4 and bora area then you would'nt have had to "waste your time".

like i said in my email (which was totally ignored),there was and is , a host of questions in the mk4 area that related to just about every part of the car.it's only the way the questions are put that allows them to stay in that area.

unless i am mistaken,i think that most , if not all the answers i got was from the mk4 area.
