i have steak knives in the house which fit perfectly into mine. its your choice but worth a try.
Radio removal tool needed
Hi, with much encouragement from a fellow member R-Pete and the great guide from Imagewerx I am going to have a go at changing my head unit. The weather has cleared up nicely too. Unfortunately my local Halfords do not have these tools in stock, does anybody near me (wd6) have a set for sale?

What ever you do DON'T use old credit cards unless you want it to end in [cry].

Ebay has them for a few quid - I think the stock radio uses the ones with like a cross on the end rather that with the sharp pointy end - but at a push even that latter one would work
As above. The ones from ebay work a treat. £1.80 to your door. You require the ones like a cross on the end rather than the ones that look like a sword.
i cut up and used my old licence to get mine out, i knew i was taking a risk but it worked well. for peace of mind ide get the right tools tho...
