Well I had my first R32 experience on the week end.[:D]stopped one by me to let him know about the web site. just to sit in one was nice very very very nice but to blip the throttle and go out in one was I cannot explain it. Holy s**t they go [:D] the feel of the car is totally different to any other golf, you are sitting in the car instead of sitting on the car does that make sense to people? I loved them before but now I must make it my quest to get one by the summer To all you R32 owners i am very envious think that is how you spell it

what i mean with the whole sitting in the car thing is, in my golf you feel like you are sitting on the chassie but in an r32 it feels like you are part of the chassie ie the seating position is lower it reminded me of driving my elise S1 you get a better feel for what the car is doing as it is going down the road. does that explain it better.

I am having a hard time at the moment even finding anything to change my R32 with.

This is the only car I have ever owned that I dont want to change after 18months of ownership.

But I feel as though I should change it before I loose any more money.....

Then I go and drive it.... and tell myself I will keep it longer.

My love/hate relationship with my 32 continues...............

Just popped to Sainsburys to get some lunch and spotted 4 different people point at my car and nudge their mate/other half.

Such a grin factor from this car - even after a year of ownership.

We're almost like Saab owners....we have a certain smugness that we know something about the car that others dont [:D]

Well I too just love the "R".

Was in VAG today enquiring after a possible swap to an RS4 always fancied one after my M3.....looking for a mint, mint one or will consider the new RS4 if it makes an appearence at Geneva, BUT still can't, won't let the "R" go for now.

Oh and by the way, the dealer asked if I wanted to sell (the R) because he thought he could put the car straight on the forecourt....the R had been waxed and polished this weekend and was looking superb, even better with the Sat Nav now fitted[;)]....my answer....NO!

Im still in 2 minds whether to buy 1 or go for the new GTi

I've got ?20K + to buy a new car with but the R32 will get me & Becky banned overnight

Nice dlilemma to have though[^]

Oh by the way whilst speaking with one of the VAG dealers close to an aftermarket tuner (who will remain nameless), they have just got 250bhp out of a new Golf GTi without playing with the turbo....bonkers if its true!!!!!
