I've spoken to the DVLA.

As long as I keep proof of the article, there's no need to worry (they have it noted down) and if I get any problems, I can change the plate for free.

Plus I'm about to sell it.

Walrus - One fault free claim, and two vandalism claims (attempted wheel theft) but it actually seems I can roll those two into one claim and so it'll actually be more like ?850 (I checked) on my name.

The point was supposed to be that I'm a "safe" driver with no points, IAM "license", and did have 6yrs NCB but was being battered for claiming. I think a driver with a few points would actually be better off than me money wise!
