Has anyone in the UK done this yet? are there kits around to turbo an R32 to buy or has it been just development work to date?

Any idea on a rough cost and would places like Jabba Sport, and AmD be capable of doing one with the correct kit?

The REVO one is supercharged. As yet there aren't any twin turbo ones here. There are some in the states and some in Germany (one of which made an appearance at GTi international I think). I think that we're still waiting for a decent right hand drive kit because it's not just a case of bolting them on.

HGP In germany (these two are the same kit just under diff names)

HPA In the states

EIP Also in the states are a few I beleive they are currently working on a rhd kit as they work with a single turbo to achieve 600bhp.

You could just buy a left hooker R32 ??????

its the videos on EIP that has got me thinking [;)] Very impressive and certainly something I would like to have as my next car. I would like to know how reliable it would be though, as most cars that are tuned to that extreme are a nightmare to keep on the road.

any ideas of price?

We are developing the turbo conversions for RHD vehicles as we are the UK importer for EIP.

Have you chosen your demomobile yet Grant??!! [:D][;)]

Not for the 4motion conversion, I've got an R32 tho, actually I have 2.

LOL do you blame me??!! --- oh and on that note... andy my car may be out sooner than I thought!! had a wonderful insurance quote with all mods listed of ?725, couldn't have hoped for a better price really, and to boot they have agreed to mirror my NCB to my daily driver too!! [:D][:D][:D]

I would be able to offer a custom specification high quality Turbo conversion to any R32 owner, but this conversion would not be a cheap one unfortunately.

I have built a number of high cost, high performance cars now and I am not at all put off by this conversion.

My own project car is a Mk2 Golf VR6, which has been converted to 4 wheel drive and then we Turbocharged the engine as well. Power is around 380bhp and reliability is VERY high as I have only used quality components.

A 'low boost' reliable daily usable R32 Turbo conversion would produce silly amounts of power ALOT higher than 400~ish hp mark.

Please see the following link for pictures of the work on my car: http://www.dutchdub.com/Projects.htm

If anyone is serious and would like a quotation on an R32 Turbo build please feel free to Email me on [email protected]
