Just adding a bit more fuel to the fire

You're the only one fuelling this particular fire. Can't you give it a rest, eh?

TDI's are great cars and it's natural that you'll want to 'stick up for' the car you own, but these anti-R32/pro-TDI topics and polls are getting tedious.

Just my 2p's worth, anyhow.

Incidentally, that's a sweet looking Golf that you've posted! [:D]

Amuses me that some people cant see the funy side to some stuff.

I know a standard PD150 would never beat an R32[:(]

The question is & always has been, would a tweeked PD150 give an R32 in standard form a run for its money.[?]

Defeats the point though - for what he has spent he could have bought an R32, had a better looking car with 4wd and had some money left over to buy a hammer and smash up those nasty neons and crappy race harnesses!!! [:D]

Unless I'm missing the point isn't this just a bit of harmless banter [:)]
