It will only get higher and higher. Why would the gov bring the tax down when they can make a fortune of hard earning motorists....I think everyone should go on strike, or a bunch of lorrys should block the M1 - M25 junction. That might get thier attention. anyway iv had my moan for the day [blah]
i put £30 of derv in yesterday and it gave me just under half a tank.... glad i got a diesel and can chug about at 1200rpm everywhere!
What is a real p155er is that oil is tapped of the Scottish coast, refined in Scotland yet we pay higher prices than England who do not produce the stuff![:(]

I'm with you Gman, diesel FTW
we should do national leave car at home day, use public transport, the country would come to stand still, you would never get to work lol (just idea)
i dont think i could aford a petrol lol im doing a tank a week in my tdi at the moment would cost me a forture if i had a 20vt!!
although i hate to say it, i think diesel is starting to become the future.....
Prices will only ever go up,

We need to start demonstrating hardcore to get things changed, or it will be £1.50 before you know it.

Even driving a Diesel Fabia at 50mpg isn't exactly cheap, but it is very miserable!

Sorry.... did someone say free university tuition and prescriptions? [snack]
Cambridge - BP is sitting at £1.31 P and £1.35 for normal D

Derby - Shell £1.25 P and £1.28 normal D
This is where I have an advantage living in N. Ireland, 30 min drive & I'm over the border paying about £1.09 per litre (depending on the exchange rate).

As said before the price will never go down, motorist = easy money.
stoke on trent,, Derv,, £1.27

lovely for my estate,

crap for my works van that i have to fuel
fuel prices are a joke especially when you think what the folks are paying in the states while at the same time driving gas guzzlers with no power. Yet soon as the goverment trys to raise the price their it kicks off whereas over here people have no choice but to take it on the chin as already said it will never go down just up.

Goverment is not dumb they know they are raking it in on fuel tax thats why biofuels are never promoted as they are in some parts of europe as the goverment will lost millions in tax

Remember when i first passed by test petrol was 70p a litre those were the days
how long before its £100 a tank?!?!? few more years?
