Spray some easy start into the air filter and it should do the trick..Thats what the RAC man did to my mates TDi and it fired up.
PROBLEM TRYING TO START
My golf ran out of deisel on friday when trying to get out the snow,put in 10 litres of fuel and alls it is doing is starting but then cutting out, checked the fuel filter and pipes that go to and from it and deisel is flowing through, any ideas what it could be thats stopping it start properly?
