Hi all,

I had porsche 996 turbo calipers and ferodo DS2500 pads fitted to my R32 around 2 weeks ago. Over the last week the pads have started to squeal REALLY loud and when i'm stopping at lights or in town i look a right [email protected] lol.

I have the anti vibration shims behind the pads but any porsche boys have any advice for me or will the squeal go as the pads wear in??

Cheers!!

Ive heard you can get like a rubbery glue that you can put on the back of the pad so it wont vibrate in this seat... also if you apply the break hard while stationary it may help seat the pad better. hth like

Already got genuine porsche anti-vibration shims on the back of the pads with the circular discs that slide into the pistons. I've booked it to get looked at on monday so we'll see what it is!!
