Thought I'd put some pics up of my mates Polo VR6.

The car has covered less than 25k miles and the engine even less.

It's been garaged for the past few years.

It's a 2.8 VR6 with a straight through decat system. (Sounds awesome)

Full recaro interior (even had the recaro factory send fabric to match the rear seats)

Big Alpine/Cliff Design ice install.

Its got custom built H&R coilovers (with two springs per corner) to cope with the extra weight.

And...........Its for sale. Aprrox 5k!! Based in Central Scotland.

you wrote it like this

the forward slash you put at the end of polo1.jpg should be inside the image brackets e.g.

polo1.jpg [ / I M G ] <<<<< but without the spaces in the img tag

Certainly an interesting idea and a reasonable price, but I think I might struggle to convince my insurers that a polo with a v6 is a good idea!

Insurance may be the stumbling block.

My mates 29 and pays ?550 a year. Which aint too bad for somthin that keeps up with a porsche 996 (at least until about 140ish)

Depends which 996 I'd expect.... Cant see it keeping with a turbo, GT2, or a GT3 myself. Maybe a carrera convertible, but still, I bet its pretty nippy!

Insurance shouldn't cost much.  This is bread n butter stuff to someone like Adrian Flux.  I wouldv'e thought ?550 was about right.  I pay less than that as a 28yo with a dub with a big engine conversion.
