VERY easy swap.............

pop off pivot cap.......

undo nut with spanner.....

lift old wiper off......

slot polo wiper on.....

add nut on, and tighten with said spanner.....

put new cap on......

*the only tweak i had to make was to sand the polo cap down, as its deeper than the old one, and MAY scuff the glass, simple sanding with sand paper for about 1 minute was all that was needed.*

So the touran blade just fits straight into the polo arm with no modifications?

Essex, I take it you cant put the original golf cover cap onto the polo arm?

No i dont think the original cap will fit. I didnt have to sand down the cap i got with my wiper so i guess some are slightly different to others.

Just tried fitting mine, but having some aggro:

The old one seems to have a spline for the spindle, but the new one is smooth - Will this be a problem?

Mine was the same Steve. The metal ring in the wiper cap gets cut into by the splines on the motor shaft. That's how it grips.. mine was six years old so took quite a bit of tugging. just place it on and tighten the nut.
