Hey there everyone!

I recently changed the clutch on my GTi as it was burnt.
(don't tow a van! Lesson learnt!!)

Never changed a clutch before but all sorted although this support bar of some kind, I can not remember, or find where the life of me where goes?

Anyone that may recognize I will be most appreciated as I'm sure it is very important and I'd like it back on as soon as possible

Thankyou

Goes ontop of the gearbox like a handle so you can move it around easier... let me guess 5 speed gearbox? Anyway it can be left off without a problem as the only function of it is to aid movement when removing/working on and installing the gearbox

Oh, if you are sure?

I assumed it would be some support bracket for the engine/gearbox.....

But yes it is 5 speed.....

Fits from top of g box to g box mount.
Think it's a brace of sum form.

Mines bolted to box, but not to mount!
Need to put a bolt in it, thanks for the reminder.
