Thought I would post some picks of the old motor as I have recented fitted full 25th Anni suspension as the original shocks were shot with Eibach springs, covered the B pillars to blend in with the windows better, created the Anni headlights and generally cleaned / polished the car []
Cheers guys.......Sem did the bumper flushing and wheels
The pillars took time and patience to get perfect and OEM looking.
It is a couple of satin black vinyl strips on either side, that have been carefully crafted to the door with plenty of soapy water, hair dryer to help craft round bends and evaporate the water applied and a window tint fitting kit I have had a while.
I will take some pics of the pillars when the weather decides to be sunny as its cold [um] and raining [st] today, after I was in shorts and t-shirt yesterday.
Mike, the car looks sooo good. I am glad all the work Sem put in is respected and cherished by a fellow enthusiast. I love all the subtle touches you have added, it just keeps getting better.
This is one of the best looking Golfs I have seen... Looked mint in the metal when sem used to own it and your subtle changes are making it look even better! The work on those B pillars looks really professional!
I used to like window tints and used to have them on every car I owned but stopped having them when I got my S3 as I wanted to be seen [H] and then continued with the Golf not having them............been weaned off them.
