Here's a few pictures of my Stewart Warner boost gauge sat in a 42 Draft Designs A-Pillar pod.

I'll get a couple of shots when its darker and add them into this thread to gauge colour match.

Out of the connection box and through the firewall.

I drilled a 16mm hole and used 12mm felixble conduit to house the boost cable.

12mm flexible conduit run towards the FPR where the connection is made.

Connection at the FPR using the supplied T piece with a regulated port for the boost gauge piping.

LOL, I was also thinking about a LHD pod with an oil temp or pressure gauge!!

I think oil pressure may be more useful though.

Night pictures will follow.

Now that's a bloody neat idea that, and very original too! [:p]

I also would have to agree that the pressure gauge would be more important than a temp one though!

But what can i say about that gauge... [:O] It's absolutely stunning.

To me it's a 100 times nicer than the VDO ones (not that i'm knocking them though, it's good gear) but that just screams class!! [Y]

Can't wait to get mine now (fumbles in pocket for change!) [;)]

Added some illuminated pictures.

The match isnt 100% but its close enough for me not to want to shell
out another 40euros plus shipping for a perfect match led and regulator.

Ryan, got enough flexible conduit and a termination left over for your install.

Will bring it to the next meet we attend.

Or, how about a EGT or air-fuel ratio guage, would be the most useful on a turbo car.

Air/fuel would be good.

The boost gauge is already dangerously addictive to look at, especially
a night so what would I be like with one on the passenger A-Pillar?

Out of interest, who else is using a T piece with a restriced port for the gauge?

This is what was supplied in the boost fitting kit from Autosystems.

Is this normal? Are these gauges not capable reading a true pressure?

Im just scratching my head and thinking aloud as to why I only see 17hg at idle.

Could this be pointing towards to slight vacuum leak?
