Was down at a local scrapyard, when I came across a Bora. Have never seen that many crash damaged ones, so I thought lets just have a little look inside and there they were...those quality vents much better than the 70's rubbish in the Golf.

Managed to get all the lot out including the frames without any damage. Even better when I went to pay for them as they only wanted ?15 for the lot.

Was very happy with the find, now for getting the standard blighters out of the car!!

Unfortunately not it had been involved in a rear end incident so the back was an absolute mess. The front on the other hand was completey missing, the engine, all wiring, bonnet, brakes and bumper had all been stripped, seats were still inside and I found a light cluster aswell other than that it had been robbed.

There's a scrap yard in Blackbushe, near Blackbushe Airport (Camberley).

But the one I used to go to for my Corsa was in Aldershot. Aldershot Car Spares, though they never had much in the way of cars under 5 years old.

But I would be interested in any others arund the area. Could do with a Fabia Rear Wiper!!

OK for all of you who what to know where this scrapyard is, (well its kinda local), its half way between Southampton and Portsmouth, in a place called Shedfield. The place is called Silverlake Auto Parts on Botley Road.

Its one of those things sometimes I go there and there is nothing of interest, other times you fall upon something that you want, such as Bora vents.
