Anyone got them?

Jace??

Whats the 0.60 time standard and what would it be like with a jabba or revo remap?

Saving and thinking of getting a PD150 instead of my 110bhp "GT TDi" lol...

With 150bhp i could easy call it a GT [:D]

Welll I could give you a full acceleration test for a Golf TDI150 but with metric figures it might be of no use for you...

Anyway my Golf as stock did around 20sec from 0-100mph and with a digital tuningbox fitted (Rapid) did the same mark around 16sec.

0-60 is definately below 7sec with a good start (w/tb).

FYI my ex-Ibiza GT TDI with a tuningbox could run even steven with a mate?s stock Golf TDI150 up to 110mph or so, afterwards the Golf started pulling easly.

Me too. G-Tech meter seems to give 6.7 reliably. I feel sure with a little more skill/abuse I could improve it a fraction.

Looking forward to seeing what I can achieve following hybrid/clutch/LSD revamp[6], hopefully somewhere near NikB's new benchmark figures with NOS[:p][;)]

Nah, something I keep meaning to try out, just need a willing passenger to do the timing [:O]

I know she'll hit 104mph (RA2) by the time I reach the end of the M42 slip road @ J13, no idea about 0-60 though.

.I think for me though its the 30-50, 50-70, 70-100 figures which are more important, for real world driving.

OK, then propose a specific figure, so that we can all try it and share results (and video).

What do you think about a 50-100mph figure in 4th gear?

13.8secs, thats on an analogue stopwatch, timed by myself.....not 100% accurate though as the RA2 has a slight delay when excelerating.[:#]

Hi Haddok, still had no chance to test the "top-end", but will so soon enough with a video of course. Anyway have on my vid collection a remaped ~190bhp A3 TDI130 going up to speedo 150mph on a highway long stretch.

Hi Jace, that's a nice figure. My Golf did the same run at ~10sec mark, but with speedo values.

I leave you two more vids from my humble 180bhp tuningboxed Golf:

50-100mph in 4th gear - ~10sec

http://rapidshare.de/files/1312481/MyGolf-box_80-160em4_.wmv.html

And a very nice run to compare acceleration power between cars without any lack of traction issues that exist from a standing start. Would love to hear from you!

25-100mph acceleration run through the gears (2nd, 3rd and 4th) - ~11sec

Cant get your links to work [:S]

Just one question, were you using the tacho in the car or a GPS based system ?, as your car tacho is about 7% out, so 100 = 93mph in reality.

[:)]
Hi Jace, just like I said they were speedo (tacho) values, and of course I'm aware of the existing error, although it varies with some factors in my experience (from GPS readings) like wheel/tire size/diameter and even from car to car.

The links work fine, just click on the first window in the "Free" button, then a second window is opened and wait 30sec or so, then a download link becomes available at the end of the page.

This site is one of the best I know to freely share vids and so up to 30Mb.
