Right i went to my local garage today to order a W8 Light, however they gave me two part numbers;

3B7 947 106 A 92Y and 3B7 947 106 B 92Y

my car is a late mk 4 on a 51 and is a 2002 onwards car, am i right in thinking that i will need the later part number 3B7 947 106 B 92Y?

Thanks in advance

I think it is the A and the B in the part number that mean something mate. Not 100% tho.

Thanks for the info mate exactly what I was looking for, does it matter what one I get for my car?
That i cant tell you when i bought mine i just made sure it was the sunroof version and was Grey i didn't even know there was a different version for older or later cars. Your best bet is to pm the original poster of the thread[Y].

Think its just the tilt symbol on the switch that different the earlier one just a dot i think. So it looks like i have the later one if that makes any sense.
