depends on what you want from it. a CAI will give you a massive deep sound. The benefit of the panel is that it just treats the engine better with a slightly lower note.
You wont rev the engine and hear a hairdryer sound anymore

Ok. Cleaner air going into the engine is better for it and since this panel cleans out more crap and has a better air flow the engine will 'work better.'
You can hear a deeper sound when you drive it.
As far as the hairdryer sound that is what a standard 1.8T sound like when you rev it. It's a gutless sound IMO but this filter gives it a fuller note.
Anyone agree?
