I did my radio cage and just used halfords stuff!

I started with some wet and dry to cut the surface i used a selcetion fromm 200 - 800 other people use different. Some parts need a lot of wet n' dry as they are covered in a weird almost tacky plastic paint [:mad:]

Then halfords plastic primer, then a colour code I used halfords audi silver then a couple of clear coats I used a halfors one again looks good IMO. hope this helps

And there's Torx T20 screws holding them in.I'd have to disagree with SOME of the above comments though,once you've got the rubbery paint off (a solvent is best for this) you don't need to use coarse emery cloth as you'll see the rubbing down marks when the paint's on.As long as you take the sheen off it using 600 grit or finer or even Scotchbrite it'll be fine,then adhesion promotor or plastic primer as usual finished up with topcoat.

Remember that any job like this is 9/10ths preperation and 1/10th application.
