Its time to get serious on the Eur0 Sl4g as shes now a serious show car. So i was sat here thinking, as ya do, about what to do next. My mate Tom (R32 AmD stage 4) has done the following photoshop of my RIALS custom painted black. I personally LOVE it. Just wanted to see what the general publics view on this is! Comments VERY welcome, weather they good/bad or ugly!

I'm gonna be buying another identical set of my rims and doing this to mine too (when i can afford them!!)

I absolutely love the whole black centre/polished rim look, but think this works best on a silver MK4, yours looks stealthy enough as it is Mike, and i'm worried that that mod, as nice as it is may be overkill on your car and detract from the general uniqueness it already has!! []

Anthracite or black, with original silver or gold/polished brass coloured bolts.

Make sure you get the lips polished but not lacquered so you can remove any corrosion spots easily.

sorry to be negative Mike but I thought the same and actually painted 2 of my wheel centres black (Ace132s) which I photoshopped first, to make sure, looked good! So I painted them, put them on the car and absolutely hated them [:'(] just ask RJH he's had nothing but grief from me for the last 3 weeks .. SORRY RJH!

now I have to have them painted back to silver and for the money I've put into them I could've had some decent wheels.

at the end of the day it's your choice mate, I must admit they do look good on the photoshop your mate did!!!

I like it Mike, preferred over standard silver IMO in fact when I (if I ever can) afford to get some bigger wheels for mine I want black or anthracite couloured wheels ideally, as I love the look.

How about playing about in photoshop to see what anthracite wheels look like (I think matching anthracite would be cool, but obviously a custom job I assume), or even maybe completely black?

If I were you Mike I would paint them the same colour as your motor, that way it would have that exclusive look?

Having said that the black rims look just as good!!
