Opinions on rear bagdes

Hi All

Was hoping for a little advice from everyone. I have removed all but my rear VW badge on my Blue GTI, was wondering what I should do, leave it as it is with just the sharan VW badge i am waiting to put on? get a US spec anni badge with rabbit? or a Oettinger badge? Undecided what to do, im thinking the red GTI badge would look good but finding them a little hard to come by, the ones on ebay have outsized rabbits and dont look right and im not prepared to pay $150 for a original. Any opinions would be greatly recieved [:)]

The Oettinger and GTI combination had crossed my mind but thought the UK rather than US spec anni badge would look better as they are both silver. Good idea though as it now is essentially an Oettinger GTI [:D] Has anyone seen any decent looking replica US anni badges around?

Dont really wanna get rid of the handle, i use the boot a fair bit and it would just annoy me having to mess about to open the tailgate. Looks good with just the VW badge, but i like the look of the red against the blue paintwork too. Still very undecided! [:p]

remove the lot and leave no trace. They cant read em anyway cos there usually blurred when i overtake!

Also let people guess by the noise.

Im a BMW hater, they love there badges 318, 320, 323, M3 mmmmm just gives the game away.

The worst badges are the ones when peeps advertise every make of mod kit out there in a vertical prosession down the side of their car, momo, spax, blistein, eibach, nuespeed, revo all the way down the wheel arch. All badges do is say nick me cos someone has spent money on this car.

Have to agree with u there, i hate badges usually, every other car i have owned has had them all taken off, but im thinking i need a little contrast. especially hate the advertisng logos down the sides, subtle is definitely the way to go. As for making people guess, its quite difficult cos its soooo much faster than a standard GTI! [:D] Might have to wait n see what the Sharan badge looks like cos standard golf VW badge is far too big IMO

The Sharan badge is smaller and doesnt have that nasty rubber surround, fits in the recess under the standard badge nicely too. looks much better IMO would post a pic but i seem to be a bit thick when it comes to putting pics up on the net! [:$]
