I nearly bought those myself but for some reason wanted more spokes so got the RX instead - I'll never forget the first time I had to clean them [:D]

8x18" Front 9.5x18" Rear

235/40/ZR18 Front 265/35/ZR18 Rear Tyres.

Suitable for 5(E34,E39), 7(E32,E38) series. Fitment available 5x120 et20. 7 series may require a tyre upgrade.

are these tyre sizes right? and is that offset ok? or will it be too much at the front? bearing mind its gonna need ataptors too?

no golf uses 5 x 100 so you would need some adapters to get them on.also the offset is wrong

You would need two sets of front rims with 225/40/18 tyres and not 235/40/18. I think that ET20 offset would be wayyyyyy too high for your Golf though, especially since you'll need adapters!

thanks for the feed back everyone [:)] thinking about the offset, im sure someone on here (J111ASE?) is running an offset of et16 on his rears? or mayby iv misread something? main reason i want these is the shear width of the rears [:p] i know it will ruinin the handling but the golfs only a 1.4 and isnt ever really ragged, so super handling is something i really need. [:)]

thanks agin for the input so far [:)] i am looking down the other avenues that have been suggested (the bbs) but am in love with these at the mo

Well I run 7.5 wide rims with ET32 offset on the front and they're just about inside the wheelarch.

ET20 would be too high I reckon, and don't forget that you will need adaptors which I guess are around 15-20 mm thick!!!

super [:)]

do you have any issues with the offset on yours?

if not it looks like they should fit, i dont mind a bit of poke out the arches, a lot of the golfs on vortex have wheels which poke out slightly and i love the look. Just need a bit of help with tyre sizes now, i just dont have a clue what ill need due to the width [:p]

none at all mate.if you go to low you may.

if they stick out too far it will fail mot though as they are suposed to sit inside arches.

I thought it was aslong as the tyre threads are within the arches you
are safe, but if they stick beyond the arches this is when it
fails the mot's.
