you'll be looking for ABS stuff only a few places left that sell that...i'd be looking at Awesome GTI and Venom Motorsport to find it at a reasonable price failing that you might find on the famous sites like eBay/Amazon/Aliexpress and if you can't find it than you are stuck with trying the manufacturer or go for the aluminium race mesh and paint it black... from a distance it'll look just fine but next to the real deal it's way to easy to see that it's not the same and the original looks way better as it has a more open design with bigger spacing between the mesh. So it's worth it to try to find the real stuff or the ABS stuff

Ive been trying my best to try and find the proper parts but its not looking hopeful, perhaps trying to get something aftermarket to trty and fit would work however i would want to match the sizing as close as possible if i can . Just finding the bumper and grill was bad enough

Oetinger is known to help out when they can as they flow mold their abs stuff if they still have the mold they'll probably charge the normal price...but chances are they've repurposed the molds as that is what they do. And in that case your best solution will be the aftermarket ABS mesh that can be cut down to size and heated up to fit perfectly... (if you've never molded ABS before, it's best to have that done by a bodyshop, or buy extra as you'll probably will mess it up at first, the metal stuff is easier to shape and can be reinforced with a metal frame and welded together ( that's how Kamei used to make their meshed sport grills) than paint the lot black to match...

last time i made a mesh grill from metal I went the Kamei route... it gives so much more of a quality look to the end product. especially if you make nice little tabs to secure it on the inside and make them thick enough so you can tab a thread into them and use simple bolts to secure it in place.

The Oettinger was the very first kit/mod I did on my Golf .... until I changed ... well everything :)

Never needed to replace the mesh though so can't help you with that ..... but if you can find anything that resembles the Oettinger OEM stuff it will look miles better

Another update, I went down the route of buying generic with trial and error, I've managed to find a suitable honeycomb which I believe fits well . It's not quite OEM sizing however I think it suits well. If anyone wants some grills cut out I've still loads spare and I'd be happy to help if postage or something is covered . Also if anyone has leaded on an oettinger grill badge I'm still searching for this
