Can you buy OEM aluminium sills without R32 written on them?

You can get Anniversary model sills that look aluminium for around ?7.50 per side from the dealers.

Gary - Oettinger sills would suit your car a treat.

Gary, i've got the Anni ones on mine and they look pukka. I trimmed them down for the front doors and left the back doors standard as the sills are so small.

Eddy, what do the US ones look like?

US ones are pressed like the r32 but with red gti and rabbit logo.

I used to have the Oettinger ones - they totally rock!

Thick gauge stainless steel, with the Oettinger logo embossed into them. I got mine from RSD many years ago for about ?70

Cheers, but ?70?? I assume thats for a 4dr?

Yeah 4dr. They only come in 4door format, but u can use them for 2 doors without probs too

I think the actual retail price is/was about ?90!

I sold mine to Tombee after I got my Anni, maybe he's still got them lurking around?

Votex do these for the Mk5 Golf, they look quite long probably 3dr only. But do you think they would fit the Mk4?
