The question is who is going to lower theirs first?
BooHoo... [:'(], Simon, both myself and Rich (Bora) are running the Eibach -30mm springs already, personally i think Rich's is slightly lower than mine especially the front, i knew the Eibach's may be too subtle, as after having them done Paul (evilhomer) asked me at a NW meet when would i be lowering my car... LOL!! [:D]

Are those seats OEM, are have you retrimmed them? If they are OEM, what car where they available for?
OEM mate, Bora only option of black leather outers with either black, grey (as in Bora's car) or blue which i have in mine, very rare option but do occasionally come up on ebay now and again...

BTW, Lovely looking motor as ever Rich, i can recommend the rear spacers as they really improve the look of the car imo...[Y]

As i have said mate, if we ever get the chance to get both cars together to get some pics, i think it would make for a great photoshoot! [:D]

Can't imagine disliking anything about your motor, as i would be in effect disliking my own car LOL!! [:p]

Er, taxi for Baker21 then!! Sorry you are right you have both got the -30mm lower springs, whoops!!

I am a little worried about this as I am thinking of buying the Eibach Pro Damper kit (currently on my Bora) for my next car and I have asked myself many times, is -30mm low enough?

Not saying that your Bora's don't look low enough guys, I just think I have just dug myself into a hole!!!

Hey Simon, no probs at all and no need to apologise mate, i have to be honest and say that i do wish the Eibach's had lowered the car a little more, especially the front of the car, but it has come down quite a lot and my Bora did seem to ride extra high as standard!

I am however, really pleased with the Eibach's as the ride/handling is fantastic imo and they are quality gear, the car looks a lot better and they are a good compromise for the rough roads we have round here... [:D]

I personally would be tempted by coilovers for your Superb as they have quite a high stock ride height, and as you fear, would 30mm be low enough.....[:|]

Either way mate, i'm sure it will look great if your Bora is anything to go by, and a big thumbs up for a great choice of new car...!! [:D][:D]

Cheers for that comment mate, I seriously doubt that others will share the same view but I am happy with the decision I have made, just hope that I can make it look a lot better than it does currently.

I have to agree with you on the Eibach Kit though, it has lasted me really well and the quality is 'superb', LOL!!! The Superb looks like a Monster Truck at the moment so I seriously need to get it on the deck before I put larger wheels on it!!

Don't want to hi-jack the thread but what's a good brand of coilover to get then? I have heard that some don't last very long?

Don't do it!! I got a post going in the Bodykit section about mine being too low. I'm going to have to remove the front lip me thinks...or, go higher....who's ever said that on the forum!!!

I've caught the front twice already on normal roads, junctions coming off inclines etc. Nice little scrape here and there, lovely. However, I believe mine might be lowered 50mm, I have 1 inch between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch on standard 16's....get anyone in the car it's gonna be even lower. My mate said I looked like a hovercraft going along the road in his rear view mirror [:D]

However, negotiating hills is difficult! [:(]

Nice car Bora, I got to getr mine looking a bit more that way and de-chav mine a bit!!!

what suspension have you got in?
It came with the optional "sports suspension" I think it was ?150 quid
or something like that. It had a lower stance and the B4 shocks,
all I've done is add te Eibach pro's to it. looking at fitting a
rear ARB and the lower S3 tie bar.
