Driving home tonight and relised that the heater controls are in darkness! It's done this a few times before normally solved with a light tap on side of trim but this time they won't come back on! How do go about fixing this any ideas? Really is quiet annoying!!! Thanks

Hiya mate

Ive got exactly the same problem,[:(!] I just came online to post exactly the same question, the lights for my

heater temperature,

fan speed

heater direction

have all gone off, now the nights have drawn in I have noticed, and I cant work out how to fix them.

I took all the panels off, took out the sterio, etc etc, I got no where, couldnt find any bulbs!

any help would be appreciated!

cheers iaincoleman, but as much as I would love to say it was helpful, it wasnt, [:I]

Am I pulling the plastic off the front of the pannel? i.e the plastic

around the control dials?

If so, you reckon its about 3 layers deep?

Are there any screws? or does it all just carefully pop off with a little patience and the grace of God?

Cheers rich

Erm.........Cant remember!!

Dont think there were screws. Just patience and a good hard tug!! God has nothing to do with it!! LOL!!

You'll see once the first layer is off. I didnt know when I yanked it apart what i was doing, but its reasonable obvious once you start fiddling!

3 layers of plastic yes!

Be careful not to break it though!

I took it all apart, dont fully remember how to be perfectly honest, dont really remember any form of screws either though! I remember thinking [??] that if I had taken the centre dial out the bulb would be right behind it, I would go and have a look but my older brother has borrowed the car!

Prayin it comes back in 1 piece or [B)] for him! When it does I shall have a look!

to get the bulb out buy skusher hose from halford the thin kind. cut a bit off and push into the hole. it will grab hold of the bulb and let you take it out. go back into halford and get a new bulb and just f$nny it in. sorted. I have the hose if anyone want s to come to GLasgow to get it:)
