hi

somebody crashed into my golf last week and snapped my shock on the drivers side.

i replaced the shockers with gaz coilies and they are mint.

both my tyres burst during accident, passenger one had rubbed through my abs & brade pad warning wire.

i had abs and esp lights constant on dash

car drives, not in limp mode but is not boosting up, after 2500rpm it takes off but theres no low turbo torque.

i fixed cable and abs light has gone out but still got constant esp light and no boosting....

i can hea the turbo once the revs pick up but nothing like normal

can anyone shed any light or offer suggestions to my boost problem please???

I konw what car I own and I know what it should drive and boost like and its not right. If its spools up at 1500rpm then thats low down is it not?

can anyone help at all please?

because the hub had a whack could it need the steering angle thing re-calibrating??

I have had a diag vag com test today

things that came up

abs sensor faults - reset ok

maf fault - reset ok

all vacuum test ok and output test ok

needs steering angle reset after the bang to clear the esp light..

also has anyone had a jammed actuator before?? as im suspecting but i think its too much of a coincidence to jam after the bang to my drivers wheel. but when we put the vacuum tester on the pipe to the actuator it didnt deflect much

im getting frustrated, it has to be related to the crash

i was unable to move the actuator with my hand.

I wish someone just knew the answer []

would the steering angle fault cause a problem with the boost due to the esp?

has no one had a stuck open vnt rather than a stuck closed so you get no boost at low revs but some at higher revs?
