They are offering the kit as an extra at the time of purchase. The first kitted MKV they had was the MD's sons' car, up for sale for quite a while at the price price, not sure what happended to it though, but those around for a while will remember it.

This one does look better in reflex silver. The kit is supplied by RSD and painted in their bodyshop.

Not too keen on the painted fog surrounds. I think that kit looks better without fogs to be honest.

I remember that...... It was in Sage Green i think, was up for about ?25/26K.

Dean and Gary (mrk IV) instigated the original place for us to all lurk around.

And as MilkFloat sad Dean left to drive a Beemer, then a porsche and then a merc I think (can't remember exactley but it's something like that) then Tabs set this place up so we all moved over.

Interesting to see that there's still a few of us original boys still around even after 4 years or so.

I think someone explained this a while back as someone asked how it all began. It was a mailing list that quickly grew and some of the members were getting a coupla hundred emails per day as eevryone was replying to topics etc and then it was decided to make it a forum, uk-mkivs, then whoneedsviagra (I think) got a porsche and created either boxa.net or porka.net, then (I think) Tabs agreed to take over the running and the rest, as they say, is history !

I've typed all that from memory of the explanation thread.. so some/all of it may or may not be right ! Anyone who knows better please correct me [][][]

EDIT: Whoops.. porka.net is a polo forum ! must be boxa then !

yep me and mr handa were getting loads of mail so he set up and mail group in yahoo, i then setup whoneedsviagra.com to use a s a forum... what with starting new jobs and changing cars i let slip and it was swiped from under my nose (the web domain)

Tabs spoke to me and we agreed on him setting up uk-mkiv's - i left the VW name and went Beemer - Porsche - Merc - now back to VW for a bit....

i still run boxa.net and its great - alot of X-Audi owners on there and i still get a few old faces pop up along the way!

anyone know what wheels are on this golf i've bought?

think it comes out at 27k specced up....
