WOW!

I decided to install the TT short shifter after reading a little on how people say it is an amazing mod for ?20.............have to agree it is an amazing difference from the original part.

Changing gear feels more positive and gives a sporty feel that reminds me of my old S3.

It took a total of about 20min to change and can not stress if you have not done this mod do it.

I also cleaned the MAF and that has restored the car back to life. Its amazing how you get used to the gradual power loss as the MAF gets dirty.

You just need to get either the 5 or 6 speed TT non quattro shifter

"8N0 711 051" is what I needed for mine.......for cars with the ball socket connections

"8N0 711 051 A" is for cars with the circlip connections

All I can say is look at the guide I pointed to above and if the linkage resembles that, than it is the ball joint type otherwise it would be the circlip version.
