Yes - but thanks to this forum, maybe not quite so many.
i think an ?18k car just has to have climate control on it, optional or not.

Surely people who have ordered the GT before 19 April will get 2-Zone Climate Control. I would kick up an absolute stink if I didn't have it.

Just checked those links and 2-zone climate is still shown as standard on GT spec.
I can't understand why VW even offers 2-zone climate on the MKV; why not just climate as in MKIV?. Is the cabin big enough such that the 2 different temp. air flows don't just mix together?

Not correct Matt - 2-zone climate is now only standard on the GTI. It is an optional extra on all models including the GT.

Interestingly the SE has come off the best after these price changes. Have to admit i am comparing my price list (issue 4 1.1.2005) to the one on the website (issue 6 19.4.2005) so not sure what changes were done on issue 5!
On the new price list, the SE now gets the convenience pack and all round electric windows standard (total of ?245) but the overall price has dropped (on the 5dr SE TDI as an example) by ?345 (old price ?16,370 new price ?16,025)

I wonder if VW will add the extras in to cars that were ordered on the old spec but have not been built yet and get a refund (just like how they will take out the CC for the GT cars)

Eh? They may well come with the extras but why do you think you would get a rebate as well?
The GT never had CC as standard - only the SE.
