Of course it did, it is a track car for the road after all.
It's also got about the same power but is a LOT lighter than a Golf.

the music through the test was from the massive attack score to a film called Danny the dog. AKA Unleashed.
There was also some Depeche mode remix and a track called Hymm by Craig Armstong (who's work was used again later in the test with a track from the plunkett and maclean soundtrack).
They use alot of Craig Armstrong /Rob Dougan on Top Gear.
