well i posted on here a little over a year ago asking about 1.6 golfs for my first car and i ended up with a 1.8 focus

earlier this week i decided to upgrade after turning 18 to a mk4 golf gti turbo abit older than my focus but gotta say mk4 golfs have always been my favourite,
so this is my new golf running about 230-240 bhp

let me know what you think :)

Looks good to me!

Glad you made the wise choice and got a golf lol
Good start bud. I assume its an AUM if its running that sorta power?

Personally, i'd say get an R32 frontend to hide the intercooler, plus it'd match the wheels.
Awsome mate.

I bet thats costing you a fair bit on insurance.
Looking really nice mate, I would space the rear out a little more and then job done.

But how in gods name can you afford a gti at 18!! I'm 20 and paying silly amounts on a 1.6 bora [:(] I'm slightly jealous lol
Nice second car.. powerfull for 18years of age... insurance must cost a bomb.. declared the mods?

Whats it had done to get that sorta power?
dam how the hell do you insure it , im paying almost 2k on my 1.6 and im 19 !
seriously that must be rediculous insurance for your age!
redonkulous on the insurance im betting but nice looking car in such a nice colour. as timbomfg says, an r32 front would suit it lovely
Love the colour, looks in immaculate condition and think the black headlights suit it well and tie in with window tints and make it look more aggressive on the front end!
erm ill admit insurance has been abit of an issue but its all sorted for 400 pound a year with 1100 excess which is good i think?
engine mods are:
new engine around 10k miles ago aum im guessing like you said
Ko3s turbo
revo stage 2
audi TT 225 injectors
forge intercooler
forge dump valve
full custom exhaust with a pretty beaty down pipe not sure on the size but the garage i took it to said theyve never seen one like it lol
uprated grooved disks and red stuff pads
obviously not a engine mod though :p

only problem ive had so hard is that the boot sensor has gone and is making an extremely annoying noise lol

cheers for the comments :)

I dont quite think i beleive that or beleive its fully comp under your name solely with all mods declared.. most insureres laughed at me at the age of 23...

and id also be carefull at what you write/state on a public forum as insurers are also on here and most likely yours are too...
oh and a polished inlet manifold new i forgot something,
Mods are declared,
im on a really big fleet insurance as a private car on my dads company so as long as my excess i can insure quite alot apart from things like evo's etc which wouldnt be used as a company car.
