I was driving the R32 this morning and randomly decided to pop into VW. Just to have a look around and I also kept thinking hmm, swap our GTI for a dsg GTI!

Anyhow here's the photos of the new Golf Plus I took.

The Golf Plus is better looking in flesh that I thought it would look. Nice inside too.

Here's the new Polo

Yes I noticed the Polo is damaged already...must have got damaged in transit. It'll take a bit of getting used to.

I agree with you Gary. The Golf Plus is similar to Seat Altea.

I guess they'd rather have people buy competing cars in VW group instead of something like a Scenic.

I just couldn't get my head around the new Polo...I'd like to like it because its a new VW Polo, but I just cant! The rear lights are really off putting for me, they're similar to the baby Seat Arosa and they're no good on the Polo.

All the information you could ever want on the New(er) Polo can be found here:

It does have some nice touches (like the headlamp bulb caps copied from the MKV Golf), but personally I'm most dissappointed that the only interior change is a couple of revised steering wheels. The rear lamps have - shall we say - split opinions in the Polo community. The racing version of the facelifted Polo does hold more hope, however:

I'm attending a press day with Josh from this board in a couple of weeks for this car. If you've got any detailed questions you'd like answered about it, please let me know. The new Passat should be there as well, so if you've got any questions about it, or want "hands-on" photos of anything, again, please let me know and I'll do my best.

Deek.
