Need VCDS coding help for LED tail lights for 2010 Jetta sedan

Hey guys,

I am looking for some VCDS coding help for my 2010 Jetta TDI sedan. First of all, I should ask...did the UK get the 2010 Jetta TDI sedan? It's a special car kind of here in the US because it's still a MKV chassis but utilizes all MKVI central electronics. In short, I need to figure out how to disable the cold diagnostics for the LED tail lights.

Do the 2010 UK Jetta sedans have LED tail lights from the factory? If so, would anyone happen to have the factory coding for Byte 18 (VCDS)?

Thank you in advance,

Nick

I am not sure if I can be of much help but I have recently fitted a pair of LED tail lights to my Jetta GLi (2007) however this is the MKV cecm. My factory coding was

17 07 8E 23 40 04 15 00 07 14 00 00 00 14 00 00 00 28 77 0B 5C

I changed this to

07 07 8E 27 00 04 18 00 00 0A 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 28 5D 03 5C

Unfortunately I don't have access to the car otherwise I would check the long coding helper for you.

Tim Birney has been really helpful on there with fixing issues people have had with LED lights..
