Sorry bout the crappy quality..

Disc brake goodness.. ignore the jacket sleeve next to it ! Disc brakes on a bike cannot be underrated. I got them quite warm yesterday evening.. [:D]

Looks nice, how heavy and is it comfortable?

I have always been a racer man but don't cycle anymore

It is quite heavy, I can't deny that.. but that's more than made up by the fact that I barely feel a fairly large hole in our crappily maintained roads. It is comfortable.. still could do with a bit more padding on the saddle (or maybe I just need more on my backside ?) .. can never quite get it dead right.. I may have to go for a woman's wider saddle [:(] But it's a world away from my last bike.. a rigid, Gary Fisher.

Only done about 25 miles on it so far.. so the brakes aren't near bedded in yet.. but they are still bloody good.

nice ride, is it an I-drive 2. Do you think it could handle amateur downhill?

It is indeed an I-Drive 2.0. But, instead of paying ?999 for it, I got it for ?799 [:D] Winner !

Yeah, I reckon it could.. just gotta make sure all the correct pressures are in teh forks and rear shock and the rebound is set up etc.

Yup, Deore LX groupo. I only ever had rigid bikes before this.. this is my first full susser! It's so good.. heavy but good.. so comfortable to ride.

I mainly ride xc when i'm able too.. there ain't no big enough hills around here! I'll do a combo of road and xc if i'm out for a few hours.

Iam XC with a little madness now and then...

I have had a fair few over the years, Klein was great...got stolen [:(] Just cant make that leap to FS - I tried a Specialized Epic FS and couldnt get on with it, felt to weird.

Currently on a Scott Team Issue - XT/XTR/Raceface etc etc, 3 years old now but she is my buddy [8D]

Iam thinking of geting an Orange next - I alwasy wanted one! Thier recent hardtails look a bit wimpy though? Was thinking Cannondale but then rode a Jekyl and was put off by the lefty fork.

Think it may have to be a Stumpjumper..........
