other than the front grill black area it dosent look much different from a std MKV golf. I like the interia but as you said it could do with a black rather than a grey.

Really liking the attention to detail on the instrument cluster and the rear air vents in the centre arm rest. My only concern would be that the interior looks to be leaning a tad towards the burberry look... Maybe a leather retrim is in order?? Obviously when funds allow [^]

Other than that the interior is very nice indeed and a good layout. [^]

But there aren't any photos with the MPG on! The one with the display showing 28 is to total mileage the car had done at that point!

Yes I have been talking it easy and running it in so far, and have averaged 24mpg. I love the interior (and even prefer it to the Mk4) but just wish it was a little darker. The interior looks fantastic at night all lit up, which very hard to capture on photo.

Its without doubt the worst feature on the MK5, everybody

comments on it, i know when i get a mk5 its going to really bug me

and ime gonna have to spend more expence on the dam car puttingit right! It spoils an otherwise classy exterier.
