The DSG is....well, it should be called the Dog's Bo&%^$ks, especially in manual mode with the paddles, its so much fun and really adds another dimension to driving. I've never had an auto before, and thought I may miss the manual, but I know I won't, I'm pretty sure in 5 years time, DSG will be standard.
Strictly speaking though it's not an auto in the sense most people will be thinking - there's no torque convertor, right? So it's really a very clever automated manual gearbox [
