Here's my message again, but with a picture this time - d'oh !

Have had the car a week now - and just love it !

The leather interior is very comfortable, and the driving position is superb, but it makes you FEEL like it's cramped a bit. I went for the manual, and glad i have - it's superb engine and very different from my Golf, and dare i say it - very much like a Petrol engine.

Thanks dude - I wanted the Auto-Streptronic first of all, but realised it wasn't for me.The 3 series is a drivers car, so didn't wanna be restricted by the Semi-Auto box. with 30k on the clock, Xenons,6-disc auto changer, full leather, Full M-Tech II spec - ( The Stearing wheel is beautifully designed!!) and all other usuals - paid ?17k for it.

>>Most are tiptronics, but I was the same and HAD to have a manual....Excellent purchase, but then I would say that! The Xenons are brilliant aren't they. Have you got bluetooth? Very cool and highly recommended.

The Xenons are stunning - tell me, are they auto adjust ? i've noticed, if you go uphill, they still look at the road.

Never got Bluetooth - but need some Cup holders !!!! Arrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh - lol

Yup. If you turn the engine on at night with auto headlights on (just
before '0' on the dial) you will see them flicker on, rotate to the
ground and then rotate back up again as they find their natural level.
Cupholders are an issue, there isn't anything close to one! But the one
you can get makes the centre console look a mess IMO.

If you have a slot for a phone in the centre console, you will have bluetooth - I didn't realise until I picked mine up!

I've only had it 2 weeks - so haven't encountered full running costs just yet. Fuel wise, the car is very good, if you use motorways allot ! haha..

Around town, it's abit naff (comparing to my Golf now) but i have to keep reminding myself that there's a 3 Liter 24 Valve Flat 6 engine under the bonnet and not a 1.9 - 8 valve - like the golf.

On a full tank, the trip computer indicates you can do 430ish miles - then add 30-40 miles on top of that - it gives you a pretty range me thinks.

Im told our MVIIs are worth ?750-?950 a set, which isn't bad for a set of stock rims! I fancy some 19" CSL reps.... [:)]

?750-?950 a set if so I'll be buying a few sets as wheelmania sells his
p/x alloys for like ?400 and there mint, I've only ever seen them go
for ?600 quid and i thought that was a result. Mike all i can say is
breytons or hartge alloys as you prob know that hartge a well known
company for bmw tuning.

heres a pic of the alloys my father wants to buy..

Genuine rims not reps? Thats interesting. Ive seen loads of reps for
that money but Ive been told on BMW forums the real thing are worth
quite a bit more. Wether this is true or not is another issue, but I
have been offered ?800 for mine with Bridgestone Potenzas. I
fancy CSL wheels or ACS3s myself...love the finish
on Breytons Visions but don't like the design

Yep there genuine, as a lot of the people with bmw's near me like to
stick on m3/m5 rims on there bm's to make them look like m3's / m5's,
so when they buy the reps they normally trade in there genuine alloys
for silly prices as they think that there getting a good deal which
ther aren't.

This is a pic of m3 evo alloys fitted to a 3 series saloon imho i hate it.
