Picked up my Mk5 GTI at the weekend after being fully colour coded [:D] ? i.e. rear valance, side skirts and front valance. And spent most of Sunday Swissoling her! So what do you think? Personally I?m really happy with it. Even my wife begrudgingly admits that it doesn't look too bad - and that's saying something believe me! I just don?t know why VW don?t turn them out of the factory like this in the first place! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

And what?s going on with all the flies! I think they must like Swissol! <o:p></o:p>

Wow!

Definately how it should come from the factory, i've always thought that, and those pics confirm it. Lovely!

That really does look great, wasn't keen when I saw a red one, but the silver looks great. The paint will be easier to keep looking great than the plastic as well.

That makes such a difference. I really didn't like the other silver
ones I've seen but the colour coding makes it looks great. How much did
it set you back?

Must say that looks better than the red one I saw but I'm still not convinced.

I think the problem with red is that the lenses are red so the whole
back end is red with no contrast at all. I am definitely leaving mine
as it is.

not sure how much colour coding costs but it has to be the must for any MkV GTI owner!! Your car looks superb m8, so much better than the original black trims!

NICE 1 [:)]

Thanks for all your comments guys. FYI it cost me 400 quid to get done
(and it took 4 days) which was a lot of dosh but it just had to be done. I
think most of the effort & money was on the smoothing textured
finish of the plastic prior to painting. I really didn't like the black plastic and it
was a right pain to clean & keep clean!
