Good buy I'd say.
One of the best looking wheels for the Mk4. Just watch out for the dreaded corrosion.
I really hope they turn out to be as good as they look.
I can't believe you managed be the only bidder! Well done.

no i wasnt the only bidder
i had bid up to ?700 but another user bid higher then backe dout so he gave me a second chance offer
something tells me it may have been a mate bidding it up
also it sayd they have been replaced under warrenty so no corrosion [
]
and ?700 for original VW 18's with almost new michelin tyres is well worth ?700

?700 for anni alloys seems very good, does depend on how much tread though

Craig,
Looks like his "mate"? putting the bid up did you a favour as it possibly put others off bidding.
?700 is a bargain as the tyre are ?140+ each for new Pilot Sports.

Nice one Zeke, what rims are you going to put on your car or keeping the Turbo rims?

Nice One!
Very bizzare how they have been replaced under warranty and haven't been re-fitted to an Anni[:O].
Are you collecting the wheels?
I'd be careful about payment, as I was ripped off just under two years ago for some 18" TT wheels which I lost near ?600.
I hope everything is O.K. and the transaction goes smoothly for you.
Cheers

Second chance offer is only made to one person at a time, and only that person can access the auction.
I think he has probably sold them outside of ebay for more money, and now doesnt have the wheels to sell.

The user probably had no wheels to sell at all and was just another scammer[
